Gum Inflammation (Gingivitis)

Inflammation of the gums, often accompanied by bleeding, is caused by plaque bacteria. Their metabolic products have the effect of a cellular poison that attacks the gums. Grapefruit seed extract has proven to be very effective in dealing with this problem. The bleeding often disappears after just a short time. For treatment, put 1 to 2 drops of grapefruit seed extract on the moistened toothbrush and thoroughly brush the teeth 3 times a day. When rinsing after brushing, add 5 to 10 drops to the water. It is also advisable to add it to your "water pik." Grapefruit seed extract is excellently suited for killing undesirable germs and thereby preventing possible reinfection. Put 10 drops of extract into a glass of water, mix well, and place the toothbrush into it for about 15 minutes or even leave it there overnight. Rinse well before using it again in order to remove the dead germs. The water in the glass should be changed eoery few days.
